Knecht  Equipment Co. was begun in 2003 by Karl Knecht with the offering of the "Muroc" instrument panel assembly.  Thanks to our customer's  response, other products have since been released which focus on the dashboard as well.   Our goal is for you to have the dash design you want in your rod.

Karl is a certified mechanical and materials engineering technologist.  In addition to his work with street rods, he has 20 years of engineering experience in the product evaluation and development of rock drilling and mining equipment.

Several photos have been included of the Chaparrals Roadster club of Dallas which was formed in 1949, being one of the oldest car clubs in Dallas.
